Background- World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions have celebrating their 36th Anniversary Tour in the year 2006 . It was produced in the year 1970, by producer Gary Lashinsky. It was created as a family attraction. Huge numbers of riders and horses were brought to perform in this show. The Lipizzan is a unique and rare breed which is famous for its history and culture world over. But the credit goes to Patton, who depicted the Lipizzaner breed in the Walt Disney movie The Miracle of the White Stallions. If Patton had not made that movie, there would have been no Lipizzans today.
In this unique show, though the Lipizzans is showcased, but their ancestral, the Spanish Andalusian, also appears in a high school presentation with a different but special wardrobe that has been tuned to traditional Spanish music. In this show, the Andalusian is shown in saddle. There is another unique and different presentation where the rider can be seen performing all the maneuvers of the Grand Prix Olympic level dressage. The rider walks behind the horse while at the same time guiding the horse through his paces. These special anniversary tour featured 12 to 14 stallions who are shown performing in selected maneuvers in an interesting and exciting presentation. The show, World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions concluded with the performance of the traditional Grand Quadrille, which featured six to eight Lipizzaner Stallions along with their riders performing an intricate, unique, beautiful, equine ballet, displaying some maneuvers which they perform through their highest level of dressage. The Lipizzans gallop, march and delicately weave their way in whole of the floor matching their steps to the tune of the music of the Masters in the beautiful ballet performed by four-footed white dancers.
For the last 35 years, The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions has been produced by Gary Lashinsky. The show conducts tours in over 140 cities, in a year performing throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.
