Hill was born in Toronto. One among his five siblings, he started playing guitar since the age of eight. By his teens, he joined a local rock group. He picked up the sax to play for his school band. 'Kiss Under The Moon', his debut LP, appeared in 1991.it was followed by a Unforgettable tour with Natalie Cole. He scored a NAC chart-top with 1993's 'The Passion Theme'. His next albums Devotion (1994), Truth (1995) became platinum hits. With 1997's 'Shelter', he began showing his vocals as well as instrumental skills. 'Life Thru Rose Colored Glasses' came in 1998 and 'Love Life' was released in August 2000.
