The Warner Theatre was built in the year 1924 for the purpose of the production of vaudeville as well as silent movies. Initially the theater was named as the Earle Theater. The theater got the honor of exclusively showing movies in the year 1945.

The theater got its new name as the Warner Theatre in the year 1947. The renaming ceremony of the theater was done in order to bestow honor to the owner of the club Harry Warner, who was one of the original Warner Brothers.

The theater suffered a major setback and fell into disrepair in the year 1970. The theater began to screen pornographic movies till the time when it was actually revived as a venue to host live concerts and shows.

The theater closed for the purpose of renovation in the year 1989 and reopened as a multi-purpose theater in the year 1992. Because of this renovation, the theater managed to hold a lot of theatrical as well as dance productions, to add to its musical performance calendar.
