The Wachovia Center that was earlier known as the CoreStates Center and the First Union Center is situated in Philadelphia, United States. It is the official home to the Philadelphia Soul of the AFL, Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA and the Philadelphia Wings of the NLL. The construction of the arena was finished in the year 1996 and it replaced the John F. Kennedy Stadium from its original site. The construction cost finally amounted to 206 million dollars and most of it was privately financed.

The venue is situated at the southwest corner of the South Philadelphia sports complex, which is also geared up with the Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park and the Wachovia Spectrum, its predecessor being the official home to the Flyers, 76ers and the Wings. The venue offers a capacity of 21,600 seats for basketball fans and 19,519 seats for the hockey and box lacrosse fanatics. But this capacity is often increased with the availability of standing room admissions that are available in suites for purchase by their leaseholders.

The venue has 126 luxury suites, 1,880 club seats and many restaurants and clubs for both private and public usage. In addition to that, different offices, studios and production facilities of CSN Philadelphia are all situated within the premises. Various star concerts have been held at this world-famous venue. Stars like Aerosmith, Christina Aguilera, Barenaked Ladies, David Bowie, Beyonce, Bon Jovi, Brooks & Dunn, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, Coldplay, Nash & Young, Dave Matthews Band, Celine Dion, George Michael, Green Day, Elton John, KISS, Avril Lavigne, Madonna, Metallica, Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Police, The Rolling Stones,Britney Spears, Spice Girls, Barbra Streisand, Justin Timberlake, Velvet Revolver and Stevie Wonder and many other stars and celebrities have performed at this rocking venue.
