The Verizon Wireless Music Center is an outdoor amphitheater that is located in Noblesville, Indiana. It is owned by Live Nation and was formally known as the Deer Creek Music Center. It is the largest outdoor venue all over the country. The venue is equipped with a seating capacity of 6,000 seats which are placed under the pavilion as well as more than 18,000 seats which are placed for the purpose of general admission in the lawn area.
The Center is capable of hosting live, high profile concerts as well as outdoor music festivals, such as Ozzfest and Van's Warped Tour. Earlier, when the center was known as Deer Creek Music Center, a lot of well-known artists performed at the center.
One among them was the performance by the Grateful Dead who performed at the venue on July 2, in the year 1995. This performance was one of their final concerts before their last performance at the Soldier Field in Chicago. The last performance was held on July 9, in the same year.
When the Grateful Dead concert was being performed a lot of fans broke the fence of the venue, in an attempt to enter the arena without paying for the tickets. As a result, the last concert was canceled.
The Verizon Wireless Music Center was listed at the 5th position all over the country for ticket sales in the year 2006. Possible selling off the venue:
The Indianapolis Business Journal, which is a local business newspaper, reported on June 9 in the year 2007, "But no acceptable offers have been received and several local brokers say the unofficial asking price of more than $40 million is outrageous."
So guys, grab your tickets as soon as possible... But please don't break the fence of the venue!!!
