One of the largest indoor theater in the world, Radio City Music Hall is an entertainment venue that is located in Rockefeller Center in the city of New York. It has been nicknamed as the “Showplace of the Nation”. It was opened to the public in the year 1932 on 27 th December. It opened with a stage show that features Ray Bolger and Martha Graham. It was opened up with a top class variety entertainment. It is also a home to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a New York Christmas tradition that has been continuing since 1933, and also to The Rockettes which is a women's precision dance team. The auditorium of the Hall measures 160 feet from back end to the stage and the ceiling reaches to a height of around 84 feet. A series of sweeping arches forms the walls and ceiling that gives a unique as well as splendid and immense curving space. The choral staircases rises up at the sides towards the back wall.
