Progressive Field (formerly Jacobs Field) Progressive Field is a baseball stadium located in Cleveland, Ohio. It has total capacity of 43,345 seats divided in three levels of seating plus bleachers beneath the scoreboard. HOK Sport Venue Event is the architectural firm that constructed this stadium. The total cost was $175 million. It was opened on April 4, 1994. Its original name was Jacobs Field. On January 11, 2008 the naming rights were purchased by the Progressive Casualty Insurance Company. Progressive Field is a home of the professional baseball team Cleveland Indians, member of the American League of Professional Baseball Clubs.

In 2008 in a fan poll by Sports Illustrated the stadium was ranked as Major League Baseball's best ballpark. Progressive Field hosted the 1995 World Series matches between Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians. This baseball stadium owns the major league record with sold out 455 straight games. In 1997 the stadium was host of the MLB All-Star Game and the World Series. Progressive Field is owned by Cuyahoga County and is operated by the Gateway Economic Development Corporation. During the games guests can enjoy food, fireworks and fun all around. Parking lots are available around the baseball stadium for a price of $10 to $12 per vehicle. The playing field is a natural-grass blend of Kentucky bluegrass.
