The Fabulous Fox Theater is situated in St. Louis, Missouri. There are many other Fabulous Fox Theaters all over the United States but the branch that is situated in St. Louis is the most popular of them all. The theater was originally inaugurated in the year 1929. After serving for so many years, the venue was shut down in the year 1978 for several reasons. But the theater was saved and reopened once again and was welcomed by the city of St. Louis with open arms. Despite going through all these troubles, the Fabulous Fox Theater has got many attractions to offer. It went through a lot of renovation work to make it equivalent to the magnificence it had in its hey days.

Initially a lot of time was spent in researching every detail of the building and developing a well defined work schedule. A professional was called in to check all the surfaces and make further suggestions for the cleaning procedure of the theater. The electric systems that were badly damaged and burnt out had to be fixed. The roof that was badly leaking had to be repaired and eventually a new roof replaced the old one.

With ample amount of attention going inside the detailed work, thousands of square feet of ornate plasterwork was done on site. 7,300 yards of big elephant carpet, duplicating the original pattern from the year 1929, were specially designed and woven to create the same look. Various musical bands and groups such as the Spike Jones Band, the Grateful Dead and Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention have performed brilliantly as the theater has witnessed the classic performances of these great legends on its stage. So there is no doubt that the Fox has provided St. Louis with a number of special events to serve the purpose of the true lovers of art.
