Opened in 1991, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts is a multipurpose music/theater venue and amusement facility built in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today, with its role of being a host to many cultural and social events such as ballets, plays, seminars and concerts, the Broward Center is considered the main cultural drive for social development in the southern part of the country, with significant contribution towards the local economic development, as well. As a token of its success and popularity we can take the Center’s reputation of being among the most visited cultural venues, both in the US, and around the world. In order to strengthen their position and increase popularity the management decided to increase their collaboration with the other cultural and historical facilities in their district through knowledge sharing and development of new ideas, which resulted in the success Broward Center enjoys nowadays.

Inside, there are two theaters where jazz concerts, operas, seminars and different other activities take place. The two theaters’ joint capacity is approximately 3,300. There is also an additional 500 capacity conference facility where similar types of events take place. The management of catering related events is kept on a professional level, as well with the Center organizing events such as parties and corporate gatherings. Finally, various types of educational programs are offered which are aimed at different age groups so people from all ages can find something of interest and decide to participate.
