Trace Adkins Tickets for Sale
Trace Adkins has been a force in country music for over two decades, but time has not dulled his appeal. Rather, he has sharpened his skills and is back with Trace Adkins tickets for the Songs and Stories Tour in the spring of 2012, trekking across the United States from March 8th until May 17th. This particular tour schedule has a focus on the Midwest, Plain States, and the South and will take him to some of the grandest venues.
The tour follows an inspired performance at the CMT Invitation Only. From that one appearance, the Songs and Stories tour was born. It also helps that he has a new album out on the shelves. Proud to Be Here has been available since August of last year and has been a strong performer on the charts thanks to singles like "Just Fishin'" and "Million Dollar View". Those will not be the only songs he plays while in concert. Instead those singles and a few more tracks from the album will be interspersed with choice selections from his huge catalog of hits. Find great Trace Adkins concert tickets for every performance on the tour itinerary here at OnlineSeats.
Trace Adkins is the type of country singer that comes to mind when most people think of the great tradition of singer songwriters of this music genre. He was born on January 13, 1962 and grew up in small town Sarepta, Louisiana. He developed his musical chops in gospel music, was involved in the Future Farmers of America, and even played football in college at Louisiana Tech University. Of course, he could not be the All-American success story for this to be a compelling story.
Adkins did not graduate and instead found work on an oil rig, where he lost his pinky finger on his left hand. The doctors reattached the finger so he could at least play guitar per his request. Trace then abandoned the rig for the rigorous lifestyle of a live musician bouncing around from honky tonk bar to honky tonk bar. He made his way to Nashville where he was rewarded with a record contract with Capitol Records.
It took some time, but by the mid-1990s he put out his debut album, Dreamin' Out Loud. The album became a hit thanks to singles like "There's a Girl in Texas", "Every Light in the House", No Thinkin' Thing"" and "I Left Something Turned On at Home". These songs demonstrated his ability to pen powerful lyrics and led to platinum status. Since then he has released 9 albums, with Big Time and Comin's On Strong going platinum and Songs About Me going double-platinum.
Some of Trace Adkins biggest hits include "The Rest of Mine", "Lonely won't Leave Me Alone", "Hony Ton Badonkadonk", "Ladies Love Country Boys", "Rough and Ready", "This Ain;t No Love Song", and "You're Gonna Miss This". OnlineSeats has the Trace Adkins tickets to enjoy as he once again takes this collection of hits on the road.
