Spring Awakening

The latest version of the Spring Awakening is a modern rock version of a play written by Frank Wedekind written in the late 19th century. Steven Slater adopted the first script for the modern day with music by Duncan Sheik. The musical opened as an Off-Broadway production in 2006, but soon tickets were available for a Broadway production later that year at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on December 10th.
