Rodrigo Pederneiras in 1985 choreographed the hit ballet Prelúdios. The music was composed by Chopin. Gave excellent music for ballet. The costumes and stage for ballad was constructed in blue shade. Since this ballet various elements of their work like costumes, lighting and stage are constructed in a such a way that they create complex presentations. Rodrigo later choreographed number of other works like Canções and Pas du Pon, Rapsódia and Uakti, Schummann Ballet. His earlier works in 1980's incorporated both classical ballet techniques as well as contemporary dance.
Suzanne Linke a German choreographer received an invitation for creating a ballet Mulheres. For almost ten years from 1989 to 1999 Grupo was sponsored by Shell. The sponsorship played a very important role for financial stability and helped achieve the ambitions of company. The creative team consisted of Fernando Velloso, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Freusa Zechmeister and Paulo Pederneiras. Since 1992 soundtracks for every ballet were written by invited composers. Santagustin came in 2002. Tom Zé and Gilberto Assis composed the music.
