The production came from the mind of Canadian film director and screenwriter Francois Girard with help from Line Tremblay (creation director), Stephane Roy (set and props designer), Alan Hranitelj (costume designer), and Nick Littlemore (composer and musical director). Knowing that the show would become a seasonal touring production spending time in New York at Radio City Music Hall, the company chose to preview with Cirque du Soleil Zarkana tickets at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida and finally moved to the debut production on Broadway.
