Capitol Steps Tickets for Sale

The Capitol Steps were formed in December 1981 by three staffers of Senator Charles Percy. They presented their first performance for a Christmas Party during the reign of President Ronald Reagan. They are a group of current and previous congressional staffers who monitor the events and personalities on Capitol Hill, the Oval Office and other centers of power around the world and then bring a humorous twist to those events.

The Capitol Steps are based in Washington DC but most of their performances are outside the city. They consist of four troupes, one performs regularly in the Capital while the others carry on their touring commitments. The Capitol Steps have had over 4500 performances in 48 states. The Capitol steps currently consist of 22 members of which 5 members perform at any given engagement. The Steps have also recorded 18 albums. They released their first album in 1984 and have been releasing albums religiously every year.
