Burn The Floor Tickets
Twenty dancers strut and swing wildly and smoothly around the stage in Burn the Floor. Tickets for this incredible dance revue will get every audience member wishing they too could be a professional dancer with such style, grace, and oozing sexuality. The show that began as a special exhibit for Elton John's 50th birthday celebration has been around for more than a decade now and looks like it will never stop.
The show was conceived by choreographer Jason Gilkison. The incredible response the routine received at the birthday party in 1997 would lead to a dance revue in London a year later. Burn the Floor may change a little with each production, but the incredible talent of all the dancers is undeniable as they perform ballroom dances and Latin numbers to such impossible perfection.
As the years have passed Burn the Floor has found that like a Broadway show, it has its feature players. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff from Dancing With the Stars dominate the stage as they dance with and among 18 other award winning dancers from around the globe. Burn the Floor owes much of its relevance and charisma to these two, as they have helped make shows like Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance a national phenomena.
