"A Servant to Two Masters" is a play by Carlo Gondini. It describes the situation of a manic servant who serves two ardent masters at one time. One of the masters has cleverly disguised herself as a man and he has fallen in love with the other master. The play moves at a comfortable pace and gives enough time to the audience to absorb the humor and enjoy the play.
Initially the audiences are introduced to the starving traveler Truffaldino who takes the disguise of a valet to get some food from two contrasting persons who are traveling with him . In his efforts to earn some money he makes some funky moves. One of these travelers is a woman called Beatrice and the second traveler's name is Flordindo. Flordindo is disguised as her brother because she is looking for her missing lover. Their paths cross in Venice, when Beatrice meets with her brother's beautiful fiancée, Clarice. Clarice is the daughter of Pantalone a confused man who has already arranged for the marriage of Clarice with the baby talking son of a learned man. What follows is a series of subplots and many more moments of humor, how everything culminates is the best part of the play and something you should find out by yourself.
