 Chazz Palminteri is the man who believed in the one-man show, his play 'A Bronx Tale' is self-written and is definitely performed as a solo drama. In 2007, he wanted to revive this series on Broadway, which was premiered on 4th October 07'. Soon on 25th October, it also had its premier in New York, at the Walter Kerr Theater. The show was directed by Jerry Zaks who has been awarded Tony Award not once or twice but four times... So, it is your chance to go ahead and watch the show, but that will be possible only if you book your tickets beforehand. This play is based on a specific part of the New York City during 1960s, this particular section is known as Bronx. The story of a boy who is young and lively, but entangles himself in the world of crime. This young lad is known as Calogero Anello, who belongs to a middle class family. Father of this boy is supposedly known for driving a bus to earn his wage. His father tries to instill in him the values of the class they live in. As the time passes and Calogero grows older, he befriends the boss of the city's mob, charms of Sonny and it becomes irresistible for him to stay away from the mystique of the Mafia. He enteres the crime lanes, compromising his father's values and teaching. Though, initially he had to struggle with the choices, the temptation for an organized life of a criminal or the simple decent life of a working-class member. The story revolves around his values and the crime rates that were increasing at a rapid speed.
