Repression and rectitude are not the only assailing forces but the seductions that adolescents ways tend to seize with in their eager souls, no matter how enlightened they may be on the subject of birds and bees. It is the tempting chant of anarchy, the wild impulses toward aggression, the hyper joys of sex. It is a play telling about the trouble of finding a place of equilibrium in a world that comes at a phase of age 13, when things starts looking strange and terrifying through the distorting prism of puberty.
