Blast
Blast is the proud winner of the Tony Award for "Best Special Theatrical Event" and the Emmy Award for "Best Choreography," in 2001. Blast is a splendid musical spectacle. The show can be better described as music in motion. The show has sizzling songs and tunes ranging from amazing classical to the blues; it is an amazing blend of jazz, rock and roll, and superb techno-pop. The show has been consistently creating a brand new genre with light, color and sizzling movement. The show really explores and really explodes with exciting young artistry. The show has got everything to make someone amused and this will raise the demand for tickets. The incredible staging is credited to well known Jonathan Vanderkolff. Mark Thompson's has contributed the colorful and attractive sets with sizzling and well adapted costumes.
This well composed show is hailed as one moment of superb and true creative inspiration. The two drummers amazingly appear onstage and thoroughly attempt to outdo each other with their sensational percussive skill. The sixty sizzling young men and women who are the amazing part of this bugle and drum style really invest it with unbelievable energy and enthusiasm. The well known circus analogy is not actually made in vain since these incredible drummers and buglers superbly present their musical skills with the thorough addition of some freakish and unusual instruments with lots of circus-y stuff, rhythmically playing while really suspended from the ceiling, twirling flags and exquisitely executing ballet routines. There's no specific story line but director James Mason, has incredibly whipped the power drum corps Star of Indiana into this huge and snappy extravaganza; with very good use of its theme, color and lots of skills.

Stewart,Bryan Anthony Sutton, Sean Terrell, Andrew James Toth, Joni Paige Viertel, and Kristin Whiting. Awesome lighting designs have been created by Hugh Vanstone. The rhythmic orchestration has been contributed by James Prime. Breath taking Choreography has been contributed by Jim Moore, George Pinney and Jon Vanderk.
