The Rolling Stones Tickets
After more than five decades together, a group has to have a little fun with words. The Rolling Stones are doing so with the 50 and Counting Tour. This collection of concert dates comes after last year’s half century anniversary tour that took the legendary band to New York and London. Now, the guys are not going to be hitting the road for more than 50 shows, but they will be playing at least 18 concerts total in nine cities in North America. If Rolling Stones tickets move as well as they did last time, then the Stones may meet that number with a few choice destinations in Europe.
The 2013 Rolling Stones schedule begins in May on the West Coast and moves east from there, ending its tentative list of dates in Philadelphia in the middle of June. Chances are the group will be playing back-to-back performances in these locations.

The story of the Rolling Stones is the story of the Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. The future guitarist and lead singer met at a railway station. Actually, they had met much earlier as children, but sparked up a conversation years later after noticing each other holding rhythm and blues records. They began playing together and the rest is history.
By the time group had begun releasing records in 1964 they had settled on a lineup with Brian Jones as an addition guitarist, Bill Wyman ass the bassist, and drummer Charlie Watts. Every group has its one revolving group member and for the Rolling Stones that would be the second guitarist. Jones left by the end of the decade, giving way to Mick Taylor and later Ronnie Wood. This first edition had hits with Out of Our Heads and Aftermath, but the first true Rolling Stones-type hit came after the first change at second guitar.
Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St., and Goats Head Soup were huge platinum hits only to be followed by an even bigger slew of hits. If the Rolling Stones released an album in the 1970s it was just about guaranteed to go multi-platinum. This first part of the Rolling Stones’ existence would leave a trail of hit singles that includes “It’s All Over Now”, “Little Red Rooster”, “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”, and “Paint It Black”.
The Stones were able to do better than just linger in the next few decades. The group thrived with Tattoo You, Steel Wheels, and Voodoo Lounge. By this time the guys had gotten old, but not too old to embark on long tours. Rolling Stone tickets would become more popular than the albums, even the compilation albums. Today the band will release a new album once a decade, but they are more likely to play a few concert dates.
