The Killers Tickets for Sale
The Killers are a Grammy Award-nominated and NME Award-favorite alt rock band from Las Vegas. Comprised of lead singer Brandon Flowers, lead guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer, and drummer Ronnie Vannucci, the band has released four studio albums, each attaining gold or platinum certification and each resulting in the Killers tickets for a profoundly successful world tour.
The band has been built around the vocals of Flowers and the impressive guitar playing of Keuning. They met at the beginning of the 21st century. Flowers had just decided to go from the lead vocals of a synth pop band to the lead singer of a rock band after seeing Oasis live on the Strip. All he needed was a group of musicians to make this new direction a reality. Keuning had arrived from Iowa and put out an ad in the newspaper announcing his intention to start a band and asking for interested performers to join him. Thus, the group came to be. They recorded “Mr. Brightside” as a pair with session musicians and cultivated a sound best described as a cross between Brit-pop and lo-fi indie rock. This sound became perfected once Vannucci and Stoermer were hired to play drums and bass.
The four went to work writing and practicing the rest of the material for what would be the debut album Hot Fuss. After playing local clubs, the Killers headed to the coast, only to return with a record contract with Warner Bros. Records. The group released Hot Fuss to immediate acclaim. “Somebody Told Me”, “Mr. Brightside”, and “All the Things I’ve Done” were songs unlike any other on the radio in the United States and England. The album became a hit and the group began working on a second album, Sam’s Town.
The follow up had its own hit, “When you Were Young”, and it helped the promising quarter avoid the dreaded sophomore slump. The Killers spent most of their time associated world tours over the next couple of years. Yet, they managed to find time to write and record a third album, Day and Age. The album polarized fans and critics, with American audiences beginning to move on but the United Kingdom still celebrating their every effort. With Battle Born, the Killers have rediscovered the original sound, though this time the group has allowed its sound to grow even bigger. The Killers concert tickets will once again sell out arenas in the U.S. and UK, if not throughout the world.
"Hot Fuss" was, to sum up, a triumph that saw the light of day concurrently in the UK on June 7th, and June 15th in the U.S. It was accompanied by a major touring as well as a prestigious appearance at California's Coachella festival and closely followed in the UK by an appearance at Glastonbury at the end of June.
The release of Day & Age on November 24, 2008 was a huge hit for the group that is comprised of lead singer and keyboardist Brandon Flowers, lead guitarist David Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer, and drummer Ronnie Vannucci. The group was nominated for two 2009 BRIT Awards and four NME Awards. The Killers will be on the bill for tickets to the second day of the Coachella Music Festival and will be touring the U.S. and Australia. The group will be in the U.S. for a couple of months.
