The Cheetah Girls

The Cheetah Girls first hit success with the Disney Channel movie The Cheetah Girls. It featured the three singers Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan, who also did the soundtrack for the movie. Raven-Symoné also starred in the movie as a Cheetah Girl, but does not sing or tour with the band.

The movie was so successful that Disney produced The Cheetah Girls TV series in 2003, which was delayed after only four episodes) and The Cheetah Girls 2 movie, which premiered in August, 2006. The second movie's soundtrack featured the three singers. The Cheetah Girls 3 & 4 are in the future movie-works.

The group sang Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" at The Radio Disney Music Awards, and, according to Adrienne Bailon, this will be the first single of their new, fourth album, scheduled to begin recording in 2007.

The Cheetah Girls have also begun merchandising, with a clothing line and accessories that include toothbrushes!
