The Blind Boys Of Alabama for four decades gave superb traditional gospel music. In 1983 they made a very crucial contribution a to very successful drama called The Gospel at Colonus. The next album of the group was named 'Spirit of the Century'. The album was very successful one and was the best selling album of Blind Boys Of Alabama. It also won them a Grammy Award in the category of Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album.
