Artist Biography - The Allman Brothers Band
|
 The band was once referred by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as 'the principal architects of Southern rock'. Just after two years of its establishment in 1969, the band was described by Rolling Stone's George Kimball as 'the best damn rock and roll band this country has produced in the past five years'. Apart from that, the Rolling Stone ranked this band 52nd place on their list of the '100 Greatest Artists of All Time' in 2004. The band is mainly famous for its live performances. Still now, the band continues to release its new albums and conducts tours to different parts of the world. Presently, the band consists of seven members- Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Jai Johanny Johanson, Marc Quinones, Oteil Burbridge, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes.
Throughout its entire musical career, the band has released a number of albums and single songs. All of them turned out as super hits and their copies sold millions. Still now, those albums have a high demand in the market.
