In 1995, the birthday celebration gala of a major Australian television network brought together ten artists studying for careers in legitimate opera in Brisbane. With requests for repeat performances, the Ten Tenors were born.

The tour of Germany followed in February 2002 and The Ten Tenors captured national attention as guest artists at the Eurovision Grand Prix. Here the group's medley of the finalists' songs was highly acclaimed by the press as being the highlight of the evening. This led to an extensive and completely sold-out tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The Ten Tenors' have released a host of hugely successful albums "Tenorissimo!," "Untied," "Not so Silent Night," "Colours," and "One is Not Enough". Their latest album titled "Tenology" was released in 2005. The Tenors have also been featured on a television special - The Ten Tenors - Live in Berlin, Germany.
The Ten Tenors made their American debut in March 2003 and got rave reviews. This was followed but another successful tour which took them to United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. In August 2003 they made their Asian debut in Singapore and toured the region.
