Her other No. 1 hits include: Blood Red and Goin' Down (1973); Would You Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone) (1974); Lizzie and the Rainman and San Antonio Stroll (1975); Here's Some Love (1976); Just Another Love (1986); I Won't Take Less than Your Love, If it Don't Come Easy and Strong Enough to Bend (1988); and Two Sparrows in a Hurricane (1992).

Tanya received the Top New Female Vocalist award from the Academy of Country Music in 1972 and the Female Vocalist of the Year award from the Country Music Association in 1991.

She has three children, Presley Tanita, Beau Grayson and Layla and is an avid competitor in cutting horse competitions.

Tucker's personal life--which includes a turbulent relationship with Glen Campbell, a stint in rehab and two children--has often overshadowed her career. She recounted many of these tales in her autobiography, Nickel Dreams, published in 1997. She released Complicated at the same time; though it's her 30th album, Tucker is still younger than many of her contemporaries (Reba McEntire and Patty Loveless, for instance). Tucker's singles don't hit the top of the chart as often as they once did (1988's "Strong Enough To Bend" was her last Billboard chart-topper), but she's too talented and too unpredictable to ever be counted out.

From hillbilly Lolita to unrepentant single mother, Tanya Tucker has confounded critics and naysayer from the beginning of her career. Her antics (which most recently have included flashing her breasts in public) would have ended her career long ago, if she didn't have a smoldering voice that's among the best in country music when she gets the material and the production to do it justice.

Tanya Denise Tucker (born October 10, 1958) is an American country music singer. She may be best remembered for her debut single and trademark song Delta Dawn. She has also acted on television and in a few movies and wrote her autobiography Nickel Dreams.

Tanya Tucker had her first country hit in 1972, when she was just 13 years old. Over the succeeding decades, Tucker became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience, and during the course of her career, she notched a remarkable streak of Top Ten and Top 40 hits.

Tanya Tucker was born in Seminole, Texas to Beau and Juanita Tucker. She grew up in Willcox and Phoenix, Arizona and stated singing by the age of 6. She recorded her first hit Delta Dawn at the age of 13. Delta Dawn went to number 6 on the country music charts. By age 15, she had a Grammy nomination, a "Greatest Hits" package and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. At 19, she became the second female country music artist to have a number 1 country single as a teenager with the song What's Your Mama's Name. At 21, she met singer Glen Campbell and had a year long affair with him as well as began battling cocaine and alcohol addiction.
