Sweet And Tender Hooligans
The Sweet and Tender Hooligans are tribute band based in Los Angeles, California. They have been riding high on the resurgence of interest in one of the most innovative rock bands of the 80's – the Smiths. The band was formed in 1992 have received local and international attention acclaim because of their performances. The band has been dubbed as the "Ultimate Tribute to Morrissey and The Smiths."
The Hooligans have been touring extensively. They have performed sold-out shows in many of the top venues in Southern California like Hollywood Palace, The House of Blues, The Knitting Factory and The Roxy. The band has performed in other parts of the US like Northern California, Arizona, Texas, New York City and Boston. The Sweet & Tender Hooligans have recently wrapped up their first tour of the United Kingdom that included sold-out concerts in London, Leicester, York, Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester. The Hooligans have received praise from the major publications in the US and have been given the recognition as the "Best Cover Band in Los Angeles" by the L.A. Weekly in its "Best of 2003" issue.

The Smiths were a famous alternative rock band from Manchester, England. They were one of the most critically acclaimed alternative rock bands of the 1980's. Even though they released only a few albums between 1982 and 1987, the fan base of the Smiths is larger today than it was even when the band were around. The band disintegrated in 1987 and left a legacy that is alive even today.
