In 2005, the band got the opportunity to perform with Bon Jovi on Country Music Television's musical fusion show ‘Crossroads'. The performance of the single ‘Who Says You Can't Go Home' by Nettles and Bon Jovi during the show, catapulted the song to #1 on the country charts. Sugarland embarked on a tour with Brad Paisley in 2005 and with Brooks and Dunn in 2006 and enthralled fans in different venues in Canada and the US. The band came out with their second full-length effort ‘Enjoy the Ride' in 2006 that also became a huge success. 2006 proved to be an eventful year for the band; Sugarland garnered a Grammy nomination in the ‘Best New Artist' category. Sugarland captivated and delighted the audiences at the 2006 CMT Music Awards, where they were nominated for Group/Duo Video of the Year for ‘Just Might (Make Me Believe)', Breakthrough Video of the Year for ‘Something More' and Collaborative Video of the Year for ‘Who Says You Can't Go Home'. In 2006 Kristen Hall quit the band citing personal reasons. Sugarland performed at the gala 41st CMA Awards and also added the award for Vocal Duo of the Year to their coffers.

Artist Biography - Sugarland
Singer-songwriters Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush form the popular country music duo Sugarland. The band had originally stared off as a trio but Kristen Hall quit the band in 2006. The trio before working together had individual and successful singing careers; lead singer Jennifer Nettles used to lead the band Soul Miner's Daughter, songwriter Kristen Hall had come out with two solo albums while Kristian Bush was half of the critically acclaimed duo Billy Pilgrim.
The trio started working together as the band Sugarland in 2002 and the same year came out with an EP of demo recordings ‘Premium Quality Tunes'. The trio made their presence felt in the country music scenario with a series of highly popular live shows. The rising popularity of the band attracted the attention of several recording companies and finally in 2003 the band signed a recording deal with Mercury Nashville Records. In the beginning of 2004, the band released a two-song single (‘Baby Girl' b/w Stand Back Up') that was followed by their debut album ‘Twice the Speed of Life' the same year. The band's debut album produced by Garth Fundis spawned singles like ‘Baby Girl', ‘Something More', ‘Just Might (Make Me Believe)' and ‘Down In Mississippi'. The album became a huge success; it has sold more than 2 million copies.
