From England comes a post rock, indietronic and indie rock band called Stereolab. The band has released number of albums, EPs and also numerous compilation albums. The band uses vintage keyboard instruments like Moog synthesizers and also Vox & Farfisa organs. They had also formed their recording label called Duophonic Records. Stereolab was formed in 1990 in London by Tim Gane on keyboards and guitar, and Lætitia Sadier on trombone, vocals, guitar and keyboards. Lætitia Sadier is a French national but can sing in both languages French and English. Over the years Sadier and Gane brought many musicians in the line pf the group. In the first years the band was marked by musicians such as Martin Kean on bass, drums by Joe Dilworth and Mick Conroy and Russell Yates who used to come in the live shows also. In 1993 Andy Ramsay for drums was inducted in the band. Anther artist who was recruited in Stereolab was Mary Hansen for keyboards, vocals, percussion and guitar. She was a regular member of the band but in 2002 December she had an unfortunate accident which claimed her life. There were man other members in the group who stayed for brief time such as Gina Morris, Duncan Brown, Katharine Gifford, David Pajo, Morgane Lhote, Richard Harrison and Simon Johns.
The current members of Stereolab are Andy Ramsay, Tim Gane, Simon Johns, Lætitia Sadier, Joseph Watson, Dominic Jeffrey, and Joseph Walters.

In May of 1992 Stereolab released an album titled 'Peng!'. 'Peng!' had eleven tracks such as Super Falling Star,Stomach Worm, Orgiastic, Enivrez-Vous, Perversion, Surrealchemist, The Seeming and the Meaning, Peng!, You Little Shits, Mellotron and K-Stars.

In the March of 1993 band released an album called 'Space Age Batchelor Pad Music' having eight songs We're Not Adult Oriented, Avant Garde M.O.R., We're Not Adult Oriented (Neu Wave Live), The Groop Play Chord X, Ronco Symphony, Space Age Bachelor Pad Music (Mellow), U.H.F. – MFP and Space Age Bachelor Pad Music (Foamy).

In August 1993 Stereolab released an album titled ' Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements'. The album as marked by the longest recorded by them. The song was Jenny Ondioline and its duration was more than 18 minutes. The other songs on the album were Analogue Rock, Tone Burst, Golden Ball, Pack Yr Romantic Mind, Lock-Groove Lullaby, Our Trinitone Blast, Jenny Ondioline, I'm Going Out of My Way, Crest and Pause.

A thirteen track album was released by them titled 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup'. The tracks on the album were Les Yper-Sound, Monstre Sacre, Percolator, Anonymous Collective, Metronomic Underground, The Noise of Carpet, Motoroller Scalatron, Cybele's Reverie, Tomorrow is Already Here, Slow Fast Hazel, OLV 26, Emperor Tomato Ketchup and Spark Plug.
In the 1990s they released more albums such as 'Music for the Amorphous Body Study Center', 'Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night' and 'Dots and Loops'.
Stereolab has also released many EPs such as ' Crumb Duck ', ' Instant 0 in the Universe ', ' Super-Electric ', ' Fires ', ' Super 45 ', ' Simple Headphone Mind', ' Captain Easychord' and ' Low Fi '.

The albums released by the group in new millennium were 'The First of the Microbe Hunters', 'Margerine Eclipse', and 'Sound-Dust'.
