Vancouver Whitecaps FC Tickets for Sale
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC began as an inquiry made by a group of owners that included Greg Kerfoot, Steve Luczo, Jeff Mallett, and Steve Nash. The group petitioned to become the 17th MLS franchise and was granted that request on March 18, 2009. It took two years of planning for a stadium and for a team organization before the Whitecaps would take the field at Empire Field. Empire Field is the temporary home though, after September 30, 2011 Vancouver will be playing at the BC Place Stadium.
