DePaul Blue Demons Tickets for Sale

6'-7' F Quemont Greer (13 ppg-7 rpg) takes some of the inside scoring burden while redshirt freshman 6'-9' Wes Green has a big man's game. Also at forward is Jamal Nichols, half brother of Syracuse' Hakim Warrick. The Blue Demons also learned some valuable lessons in versatility and resilience when departed center 6'9 Andre Brown (9 ppg-9 rpg) had to miss nine games in the middle of the season because of a knee injury.

Their best wins last year came against Memphis, UAB, Cincinnati and Louisville, four top-30 teams in the RPI. They've made a good habit of winning ugly and making the right plays down the stretch in big games. The Blue Demons have been at their best when they play rugged, physical basketball, with defense and rebounding as their top priorities. Note that DePaul was a strong 8-4 SU/ATS on the road. Plenty of savy and scoring returning for the Demons who will get their 20 plus wins and an invite to the Big Dance once again.

Like Louisville, DePaul (20-9 SU, 12-14 ATS) will go as far as its defense will carry it. Under Coach Dave Leitao, the Blue Demons have learned that defense and rebounding puts a team in position to compete for a championship. Delonte Holland has departed but the Demons still have several important pieces from last year. 6'5 Drake Diener has been a solid player for DePaul, not just as a shooter but as a leader and consistent playmaker. Plus, he's the best 3-point shooter in the league, sinking 46 percent of his 3-point attempts. Both he and Sammy Meija have great size for guards, which should be an advantage.
