Background - Fulham Fc
Fulham perform their home games at Craven Cottage that has the capacity to hold 24,600 spectators per event and is packed with their supporters during their performance. The team also performed at Loftus Road during their renovation and managed to pull larger crowds of people for their games. The club originated in 1879, initially named as St Andrew's Church Sunday School. The club started to perform their games at Craven Cottage in 1896. They started playing as a professional team on December 12, 1898 and got admittance into Southern League's 2nd division the same year. In 1902-03, the club was promoted to Southern League 1st Division. The club achieved the Southern League title twice in 1905-06 and 1906-07. During the 1907-08 season, the club participated in the 2nd Division league game for the very first time but was left disappointed. However with a(not needed) fluctuating victories, the club was transferred to 3rd Division South, in 1920. The club stepped up to win the London Challenge Cup in the 1909-10 season. Fulham won the 3rd Division South, in 1931-32 season. The club participated in the FA Cup semi-final in the 1935-36 season. Fulham participated in the FA Cup semi-finals in 1958 and won the title to be promoted to the 1st Division in the following season. Their highest ever FA Premier League position is 9th position in 2003-04 season.

 With appointment of Micky Adams as manager, in 1996 the club added a new dimension to their Football Club. Frenchman Jean Tigana pulled Fulham team towards the third promotion in five seasons in the 2000-01 season. With 100 goals in 46 games the club was promoted to the top tier status, since 1968 for the very first time. The club is the only team to host top-flight football for this era but have undergone many changes in the management that led to an unstable performance. In the summer of 2003, Chris Coleman took charge of the team. The club displayed impressive performance in the 2004-05 season. Top scorers of the 2006-07 season were Brian McBride with 9 goals and Carlos Bocanegra with 5 goals. Fulham defeated Leicester on 17th January 2007 with a score of 4-3, defeated Stoke on 27th January 2007 with a score of 3-0, defeated Newcastle on 3rd February 2007 with a score of 2-1, defeated Liverpool on 5th May 2007 with a score of 1-0.
