Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Tickets for Sale

As you can imagine, tickets for the Hawaii Bowl are never a hard sell. What is better than taking an amazing trip to everyone's favorite tropical vacation destination while the rest of the country is left freezing on the mainland? Only one thing – getting to see two of the NCAA's best football teams in the country go head-to-head during that very same trip.

The 2008 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl featured the hometown heroes, the University of Hawaii Warriors, against one of the nation's most popular teams, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. It was a fantastic experience for both the local Warriors fans in Honolulu, as well as the Fighting Irish supporters who made the trip all the way from South Bend, Indiana. This year's game should be a great one as well, so get your 2009 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl tickets now, and make plans to enjoy a warm and sunny December 24 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.

Set to kick off on Christmas Eve at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium, the 2009 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl is simply postseason college football in paradise, as only the 50th state in the nation can stage it. With teams from Conference USA or the Pac-10 going head-to-head against a representative from the Western Athletic Conference, the match-up is always an exciting one. So if you have always wanted to see Hawaii, now you can get the best of both worlds by throwing in a great college football game to boot.

This year's Hawaii Bowl will see Southern Methodist University playing in its first bowl since 1984. Ironically, the SMU Mustangs may feel as though they are facing their old Pony Express of the 80s as they go against the Nevada Wolf Pack's rushing offense which is the best in the nation – with three 1,000-yard rushers! The game will also be the first time SMU coach June Jones is returning to the islands since leaving the University of Hawaii for SMU two seasons ago.
