Shania Twain tickets are soon to be Las Vegas tickets to see the country superstar as she begins a residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The two-year residency, dubbed Shania Twain: Still the One, brings the Canadian star to Sin City to begin her comeback, a comeback nearly a decade in the making. Shania Twain has survived vocal injuries, a heartbreaking divorce, and her own reality show on Oprah's new network. Now she prepares to record and release her fifth album and will play 60 concerts a year to reclaim her status as one of the most powerful women in music.

Shania Twain was born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in the small mining town of Timmins. Her family was extremely poor, even for Canadian standards. She used to plant trees for a living with her Native American stepfather. Eventually she was employed by the Deerhurst resort in northern Ontario as the lead vocalist in several musical productions. Her passion then was switched to country music. Tragedy would soon hit as both of her parents were killed in a car accident in 1987.

Soon after, Shania's luck improved and she was signed to a record deal. Her first album was a decent hit and she was even being compared to Trisha Yearwood. She helped write one song which early on showed that someday she would come out her shell and explode as a superstar.
