Senses Fail: This band from New Jersey consists of vocalist Buddy Nielsen, guitarists Dave Miller and Garret Zablocki, bassist Mike Glita, and drummer Dan Trapp. The group was officially formed in 2002 when they entered the studio with producer John Naclerio, recording two three-song demos. The material turned into an EP called, "From The Depths of Dreams." The response to the disc was overwhelming and in just a couple weeks of its release, the band was being courted by larger labels. The band supported the success of their EP with a string of well recieved concerts. The band caught the fancy of Drive Thru records and were signed in late 2002. A revamped version of the From the Depths of Dreams EP appeared in April 2003; it featured better mixing, one new song, and an acoustic version of "Ground Folds." Senses Fail returned to the studio with Saves The Day producer Steve Evetts to record "Let It Enfold You", their most challenging and rewarding album to date.
Senses Fail followed up the release of the album with a prominent position on the Warped Tour in 2004. They will tour exhaustively for the rest of the year in addition to working on an new album.
Saves The Day: Saves the Day released their debut album "Cant Slow Down" with producer Steve Evetts (Sepultura, Dillinger Escape Plan, Sick of it All). They gained wider critical acclaim for their next album "Through Being Cool". Saves the Day really fired in their next installment "Stay What You Are" in 2001 with producer Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Toadies), it was also their first release for Vigrant Records. The band's next album "Reverie" came two years later and was a first for Dream Works.
