Seether Tickets for Sale
Seether has joined forces with Nickelback, Bush, and My Darkest Days to tour the country. They will also be in Europe, where they enjoy an equally fanatic fan base. Seether tickets are going to be available throughout the spring and summer as one of the most underappreciated bands in the heavy metal genre continues to prove they are a touring sensation not to be missed.
While Seether is on tour just about every year, they do not always have new songs and lyrics to entertain fans with. This is not the case in 2012. The band has released its sixth studio album. Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray released on May 17, 2011 and reached number 50 on the Billboard 200. The new album has three new singles: "Country Song", "Tonight", and "No Resolution". "Country Song" has proven to be the most popular of the three, reaching number one on the U.S. Mainstream Rock single charts and has even been certified Gold.
Seether is perhaps the best-known hard rock group from South Africa. They – Shaun Morgan, Johan Greyling, Tyrone Morris, and David Cohoe – began as Saron Gas, a name under which they performed until 2002. As Saron Gas, the group emerged as a undeniably popular act on the South African music charts. The album Fragile attracted the attention of Wind-Up Records. Consequently, the attention made the group reconsider its name, which too closely resembled sarin gas. They became Seether.
The first album released under this new name was Disclaimer. However, the first truly successful international album came next, Disclaimer II. The album included the breakout single "Broken" among its track list. "Broken" reached number 9 on the U.S. Mainstream rock chart, went platinum in Australia, and went gold in the United States. The song "Fake It" would eventually surpass the single by going platinum. It was this first hit that established the instrumental and lyric style of a group that has since remained among the ranks of the most popular hard rock acts worldwide.
Karma and Effect, Finding Beauty in Negative Space, His Way Our Way, and now Holding onto Strings Better Left to Fray have followed, filling out an impressive discography. Along the way there have been a number of changes to the band membership. Currently, Shaun Morgan remains the lead singer and rhythm guitarist as he has since the beginning, Shaun Morgan is on- again after several off-again moments as the lead guitarist, Dale Stewart is the bassist as he has been since 2000, and John Humphrey is the drummer. OnlineSeats hass the Seether tickets to see this terrific group of hard rockers in concert.
