Saving Abel tickets have been selling since Jared Weeks and Jason Null met in Corinth, Mississippi in 2004 and decided to form a great American rock band. The group name was inspired by a Google search that landed on the story of Cain and Abel, and the line "there was no saving Abel.
Weeks and Null met at a friend's house. Then they were in rival bands, but after listening to each other rehearse, the two sat down and wrote songs that would take the band Saving Abel from a dream in a basement to the national scene, selling concert tickets and albums while their music spread over the airwaves.
That sound and their songs would have to catch the ear of Skidd Mills, a producer known for help making hit songs for big name rock bands. He invited the two to his studios in Memphis. Their, at 747 Studios in 2005, the group began to cultivate their sound, adding band members guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor, and drummer Blake Dixon to create the lineup to Saving Abel.

The group eventually cut a record of their own (Addicted) and sent it out hoping to get some kind positive feedback or record deal in the process. Eventually Virgin Records discovered the album, thanks to consultant Rick Smith. The CEO, Jason Flom, decided to send Kim Stephens, a veteran A&R to help to check the band out in Jackson, Mississippi.
Saving Abel was signed and soon a record was released. The self-titled album hit the shelves on March 11, 2008 and rocketed up the U.S. Rock and U.S. Hard Rock charts, reaching number five and number four respectively. The album went gold and the group began touring to promote the album. The group is headed out with Nickelback on the Dark Horse Tour and hopes to sell enough tickets to their own fans to one day have their own headlining tour through Live Nation.
