Roger Clyne and his band are going to put up that rocking performance that you have been yearning to listen to. So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets now.
Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers have more passion, more energy and truth behind their songs as compared to any of their contemporaries. They have the ability to make even the sleepy crowd going and rocking. The Peacemakers band consists of Roger Clyne as the vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, P.H. Naffah as the Drummer, -Lead Guitarist -Steve Larson and Nick Scropos as the Bassist. These four guys makes their music in such a way that it evokes no anger or hatred. It is fun to listen to their music and just good old fashioned appreciation for what the audience look forward to.
The band The Peacemakers, were formed in the year 1990. It so happened that Roger Clyne and drummer PH Naffah used to perform in other band The Refreshments which was quite a successful rock band. Their top radio hit was Banditos. After this some problems arose and The Refreshments was disbanded. Frontmen Roger Clyne and drummer PH Naffah still had that going thing about rock and so they joined hands together and formed a new band and named it Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. Later they were joined by Scottie Johnson from Gin Blossom; Steve Larson who used to play guitar in Tempe band, known as Dead Hot Workshop and Danny White the Bass player.
Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers released their first album Honky Tonk Union in the year 1999. Since they were not sure of the response they will get from the audience bout their first album, so they released the album in limited quantities with a bonus live CD, Real to Reel. The following year they released an extended version of Real to Reel as a stand-alone album. Their was quite a noticeable change in the music of Honky Tonk Union as compared to what Clyne did with the previous works in The Refreshments. Actually Honky Tonk Union presented the influence of a heavier country as well as, also focused more on the singer-songwriter aspect of the band, while The Refreshments focused only on the lead guitarist and edgy southwestern rock feel. Clyne took the utmost care that everyone in his band got equal opportunity. Their next studio effort was Sonoran Hope and Madness, released in 2002. In this album, they looked into closely the deeper themes of returning to the basics of life, of loss and of resurgence. It was the tale of the death of that part of life which was much-loved. In the same year Scotte Johnson left the band to rejoin the Gin Blossoms. He was replaced by Steve Larson.

Artist Biography - Roger Clyne
|
After a gap of two years, Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers released their third studio effort ¡Americano!. It is a story set on a Mexican beach, miles away from the daily grind and showcases the spectrum of human emotion. After the release of ¡Americano!, Danny White left the band to start his own recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee and was replaced by Nick Scropos. He has also played in Peacemakers earlier album on track nine of Honky Tonk Union, Green &Dumb. The band then embarked upon extensive tour, both as a headlining band and also opening for national acts such as Sammy Hagar and John Fogerty. Twice a year, they perform at the "Circus Mexicus" bash, which is a four-hour long concert at the Sunset Cantina
In 2005, the Peacemakers were invited to play at Billy Bob's Texas. After the performance, they sold a live CD that features songs from that performance. It sold so well that it made them the only independent band to have five consecutive top-10 albums on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart. In 2006, they released a four song EP, Four Unlike Before.
