RATT Tickets for Sale

Ratt has been performing its brand of heavy metal since the early 1980s when they rose to prominence. The group formed out of San Diego thanks to heavy dose of influence from 1970s hard rock and glam rock. Ratt started playing back in 1976 as Mickey Ratt with a number of lineups. The group became just Ratt after a move to Los Angeles in 1980. The lineup consisted of Guitarsits Chris Hager and Paul DeNisco, bassist Matt Thorr, and drummer John Turner.

The lineup continued to change, but in 1982 the group on the verge of breaking out was lead singer Stephen Pearcy, lead guitarists Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby, bassist Juan Croucier, and drummer Bobby Blotzer. In 1983 Ratt released a EP with independent label Time Coast and the EP made enough noise so that Atlantic Records signed the group. Ratt tickets were destined to be a phenomenon that went beyond the southern California.

The first major record released was Out of the Cellar in 1984. Critics praised the album and fans supported the group buy purchasing records and concert tickets. The commercial success landed the group's music videos on MTV. Round and Round, Wanted Man, Back for More, and many others featured musicians who appealed to the musical taste of the generation and had girls loving their appealing looks.

Ratt continued to be a pop-metal tour-de-force with their next release, Invasion of Your Privacy. A raspy-voiced singer, suggestive lyrics, and pyrotechnic guitar twin leads paved the way to another platinum certification and tour with sold out Ratt concert tickets. Dancing Undercover and Reach for the Sky were platinum records, but critical and commercial success had begun to wane.

The experiment with thrash metal was quickly abandoned after Dancing Undercover, but even a return to blues riffs and songs could not hold back the tension that undid the band after 1990s Detonator became the first album since 1983 to fail to reach platinum. The group tried to win back its audience with an MTV Unplugged performance, but Robbins and Crosby's substance abuse problems were the tipping point for the group. Ratt would not sell tickets again with its 1980s lineup in tact.

Ratt broke up in 1992, but reunited in 1996 only to find that they had lost their magic. The rest of the group left and a new generation took over the name Ratt. The new band members were overlooked as controversy continued to get more attention than any of the music actually being played. The reunion in 2006 brought in a new age of the group. Now Ratt is selling tickets with Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini, Carlos Cavazo, Robbie Crane, and Bobby Blotzer.

OnlineSeats will have Ratt tickets for the upcoming promotional concerts and tours for the new album, rumored to be released in 2009. Find the best prices on the best seats on the seating chart or for standing rows up front and see the metal band return to the stage.
