RAQ is a upcoming rock band from Burlington, VT. The band's music can be best described as an "aggressive improvisational rock." The band's music has become a rage among music lovers. They can be summarized as a storm of devastating music. Their songs combine the best of futuristic and retro tunes. RAQ consists of Jay Burwick (Bass/Vocals), Greg Stukey (Drums), Chris Michetti (Guitar/Vocals) and Todd Stoops (Keyboards/Vocals).
According to Glide Magazine, "They've invented the concept of jam bands even having an old school style to bring back in the first place..." RAQ's compositions are grounded in solid song structures, but the music is malleable enough to go in infinite directions in a live setting. The group has become a "must see" in popular music festivals around the nation including Bonnaroo Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Moe. Down, Langerado Music Festival, Summer Camp, Berkshire Mountain Music Festival, and Gathering of the Vibes.

In 2003, the group earned a nomination for "Jammy" Award as a "Best New Band." Recently the Relix Magazine raved that "RAQ has the ability to captivate an audience, dropping jaws with hyperkinetic improvisational splendor."
