Randy Houser Tickets for Sale

Some would say that Randy Houser's music is virtually irresistible, given the passion and enthusiasm found in its delivery. Born in Lake, Mississippi, his father was a professional musician and obvious influence as well. Houser performed at a variety of local venues, fronting his own band by the time he was thirteen, and later forming another band, 10lb. Biscuit, while attending East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi.

By 2002, Randy Houser had moved to Nashville, Tennessee in pursuit of a songwriting career, where one of his initial recordings as a songwriter was Honky Tonk Badonkadonk, which he co-wrote with Jamey Johnson and Dallas Davidson. This single was later recorded by Trace Adkins on his 2005 album Songs About Me, and was a Top 5 record for him. After this song's success, Houser decided to shift his focus from writing to performing, and began to play at local shows in Nashville. Randy was also briefly signed to the MCA Nashville label, but did not release anything while under contract with the company.

Randy Houser eventually ended up with Universal South Records in 2008, and his first single, Anything Goes, was co-written by Brice Long and John Wiggins and released in May of the same year. Houser performed Anything Goes on the Late Show with David Letterman in August, after Letterman had heard the song on a satellite radio station. The song entered Top 40 on the Billboard country charts that same month. Houser's debut album, also titled Anything Goes, was released that November, at which point the title track was a hit and in the Top 20 on the country charts.
