Rammstein Tickets for Sale

Rammstein is the German Industrial rock band that found international prominence after the 1997 single "Du hast" garnered attention from American radio stations. The song helped solidify the band's place in the hard rock and alternative world. Now Rammstein tickets sell in any part of the globe where metal and hard rock are appreciated.

The band has remained remarkably intact. Tim Lindermann (lead singer), Richard Z. Kruspe (lead guitar), Paul H. Landers (rhythm guitar), Oliver Riedel (bass), Christoph Schneider (drums), and Christian Lorenz (keyboard, samples) have been with the band became a complete unit in 1994.

Initially, the group consisted of just Kruspe, Riedel, Schneider, and Lindermann. Driven by Kruspe's musical vision, Rammstein played a type of hard rock epitomized by KISS. Kruspe realized the American hard rock sound did not suit the group. He cultivated a sound that included the sound they have perfected today, rock driven by both guitars and machine. They brought about the advent of Industrial rock in Germany.

The sound won a battle of the bands competition. As the winner, Rammstein won the right to create a four-song EP in a professional recording studio. Kruspe felt the band needed a couple more members to complete the outfit. Landers joined almost immediately, but Lorenz joined only after some hesitation. He was not completely enthralled by Rammstein's musical style, but eventually joined anyway.

Rammstein went to work in the studios and released their debut album, Herzeleid, on September 24, 1995. For the next two years the group toured Germany to promote the album. Continental success followed an appearance on MTV UK's Hanging Out. A song from the album chosen by influential music director Trent Reznor appeared on the Lost Highway soundtrack. All these breaks, as well as continued touring of Europe helped Herzeleid go platinum in Germany and in Europe.

International success must include an American audience and that success came with their sophomore album. Sehnsucht topped the charts immediately in Germany and Austria. The album would catch on across the Atlantic Ocean in the United States thanks to the popularity of "Du Hast". The reached number 20 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks in 1997, a time lacking a new dominant American hard rock group. Rammstein filled that void, toured on the Family Values Tour, and were rewarded with platinum sales in the U.S., as well as platinum sales in Germany, Canada, the European Union, and double platinum sales in Switzerland.

The band's third album, Mutter, again topped the charts in Germany and Austria, but this time found a cool response from the American audience. Still, Rammstein proved to be a popular European act. They reported album sales that qualified for double platinum in Germany and Switzerland, platinum in the European Union, and gold in Sweden and Finland. This would prove to be a trend as Rammstein's musical career continued. They would top the charts in Germany and Austria and post platinum sales in a few European countries.

Despite the lack of uber-album sales after the release of Reise, Reise (2004), Rosenrot (2005), and Liebe ist fur alle da (2009), Rammstein has remained a popular live act. They continue to sell concert tickets as they tour just about every year. OnlineSeats will have Rammstein tickets for this year's Family Values tour and their lone headlining concert in the U.S. at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 11, 2010.
