Powerman 5000
Powerman 5000 is a Boston-based underground metal band. The band became an overnight sensation after the success of their 1995 Indie-debut, " The Blood Splat Rating System," which was released on Conscience Records. The band shifted to the Dreams works label in 1997 and released, "Mega Kung Fu Radio" which was a revamped version of their debut album. The band went on to release "True Force" in 1997. Powerman 5000 came back and issued the album "Tonight the Stars Revolt" in 1999.
Their next album titled Anyone for Doomsday? Faced many roadblocks. The album was halted and then aborted, this have signals that all was not well within the band. The rumors proved true when longtime bassist Dorian Heartsong and drummer Alan Pahanish left the group in November, 2001. The band were not looking to rebuild their lineup. The band didn't have to wait too long, just a year later, drummer Adrian Ost and bassist Siggy Siursen were added to the band's lineup before the end of 2002.
