Ozomatli is a very bis group with ten members such as Justin 'El Niño' Porée on percussion and rap vocals, Rene 'DJ Spinobi' Dominguez: for turntables, Raúl 'El Bully' Pacheco for guitar, vocals, tres, and jarana, Jiro Yamaguchi on tabla, background vocals, assorted percussion and cajon, M.C. Jabu Smith on rap vocals, Ulises Bella on saxophone, requinto jarocho, background vocals, keyboard, and melodica, Wil-Dog Abers on background vocals, marimbula, and bass, Asdru Sierra on lead vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, and trumpet, Sheffer Bruton on trombone and Mario Calire on drums.
The first album of Ozomatli was a self titled one coming on 16th June, 1998. The album was released with twelve songs Super Bowl Sundae, La Misma Canción, Como Ves, Aqui No Será, Cumbia De Los Muertos, Coming War, Cut Chemist Suite, Chota, O Le Le, Donde Se Fueron?, Chango and Eva. The second album of the group was released on the day when the World Trade Centre was attacted in United States 11th September, 2001. the album was titled 'Embrace the Chaos' and had eleven songs Pensativo (Interlude), Sueños En Realidad, Dos Cosas Ciertas, Lo Que Dice, Vocal Artillery, Mi Alma, Pá Lante, Embrace The Chaos, Guerrillero and Tímido. Though several bands canceled their concerts following the attacks but Ozomatli continued to perform and gained more success and popularity at the same time they contributed on their part towards social justice and progressive politics. Later the group adopted a new direction in music. They adopted Arab and North African styles in their own music.

In 2004 Ozomatli released the album named 'Street Signs'. 'Street Signs' was a thirteen songs album and the numbers were Santiago, Doña Isabelle, Ya Viene El Sol (The Beatle Bob Remix), Love & Hope, Cuando Canto, Believe, Te Estoy Buscando, Street Signs, Nadie Te Tira, Who's To Blame, Déjame En Paz, (Who Discovered) America? and Saturday Night. 'Street Signs' brought the talent pf the group to the fore and won a Grammy Award in the category of Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album.
A live album of Ozomatli was released on 23rd August, 2005. The album was named ' Live at the Fillmore' and 3was recorded at The Fillmore in San Francisco. ' Live at the Fillmore' had a CD and DVD release. The DVD had some more tracks and special features. The CD had ten songs Cuando Canto, La Misma Canción, Dos Cosas Ciertas, Saturday Night, Como Ves, (Who Discovered) America?, Love and Hope, Believe , Chango and Eva. The DVD had fifteen songs (Who Discovered) America?, Cuando Canto, Como Ves, Dos Cosas Ciertas, La Misma Canción, Esa Morena, Elevation; Coming Up Part 2, Samba, Cumbia de los Muertos, Love and Hope, Street Signs, Chango, Believe, Saturday Night and Intro.
