Washington Capitals Tickets for Sale
Well it seems that the Washington Capitals ended their 2012-2013 hockey season the same way they did the last season. Alex Ovechkin and his team fell too short and far too early during the postseason. And this could cost them once more if they don't watch out. A lot of their short comings tend to happen during the springtime training.
But in spite of all of their previous shortcomings the team has enough within them to pull the rabbit out of their hat, so to speak. They already have enough skill, expertise and depth and training to really make a go of it when it comes to the forthcoming hockey season, if it's just on paper. But even if it is on paper it could be enough to pull them out of their ongoing slump and really make a deep run when it comes to the playoffs.
Now the season is only weeks away and Adam Oates and the rest if his staff have some difficult decisions to make. What they are facing right now is what do when it comes to the lineup. Adam and his staff needs to figure out which team players he needs to promote a bit more and which ones he needs to pretty much cut from the lineup. Adam will also need to decide how the lineup will go. Which players will be promoted much more this season and to what extent. And which ones need to be moved more to the back.
Now as of this moment Brooks Laich was injured about ten minutes prior to the start of the training camp. Now with Brooks suffering the way is there is only one question. Will Brooks be okay enough to pick up where he last was before he was injured? Or is he going to be benched, at least for the time being, and Wilson given the go ahead to take his place on the opening night rooster?
