In an effort to strengthen the defense too, San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and GM, Doug Wilson is about to announce the re-signing of defenseman Nick Petrecki to a one year contract. Nick brings in a lot of quality and experience in the San Jose Sharks team. The team’s head coach Todd McLellan is confident that the loopholes that were seen in the team’s defense during the last NHL season will be all patched up with the signing of Nick Petrecki. The combination between Craig Anderson, David Backes and Tyler Kennedy will surely be a force to reckon in the upcoming National Hockey League.
San Jose Sharks start their season campaign at home to Vancouver Canucks on 3rd October 2013; hopefully their new signings will help them win the NHL trophy.
