New York Giants Tickets for Sale
The New York Giants are an American professional football team based in the New York metropolitan area. Currently the team is a member of the East division of the National Football Conference in the NFL. The Giants play all of their home games at MetLife Stadium, which is also home to the New York Jets. John Mara and Steve Tisch are the owners of the New York Giants and Jerry Reese is the General Manager while head coach is Thomas Coughlin, he has been the teams head coach since 2004 and he also led the Giants to victories in both Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI. The team is the longest-established team in the Northeastern United States. The Giants rank third among all NFL franchises with eight NFL titles. Contract talks with Eli Manning are going nowhere because the 12 year veteran QB wants to be the highest paid QB in the game, no he did not say that, however his agent opened the talks with a request that was very high, his amount would ultimately pay him more than Aaron Rodgers who was listed as 2015s highest paid athlete so the real question here is Eli still playing in the same league as the top quarterback in the league? WR Victor Cruz claims his knee is fully recovered and he participated in practice and is expected to be ready for the regular season, much to his disdain as Cruz was adamant about not having any limitations, he is ready for some physical activity, he has been out since his injury last November.
Owned on paper by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. MetLife Stadium was built in a joint effort of privately raised funds by both teams, The New York Giants and the New York Jets. It is the only NFL stadium shared by two NFL teams. The New Meadowlands Stadium, as it was called when it first opened featuring the Big City Classic Lacrosse event. The construction cost is the most for any stadium coming in at $1.6 billion, MetLife Stadium is also the second-largest stadium ever built and second largest in seating capacity, the lower bowl seats 33,346 the mid-bowl seats 21,323 and the upper bowl seats 27,897. MetLife Stadium hosted Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2, 2014 when the NFL waived the 50 degree or warmer climate status for entry as a hosting Super Bowl venue and NFL commissioner waived the requirement because of the “unique, once-only circumstance based on the opportunity to celebrate the new stadium and the great heritage and history of the NFL in the New York region.” MetLife is not only for football it has also been used for soccer, concerts, WWE events, and many other conventions and entertainment events. The lease is set up so the Jets always have a “way out” when they decide to play in their own stadium if they can find a way to finance it where as long as the other teams stays through the end of the lease if one decides to leave at a six month mark then there is no breach of contract. The facility right now boasts two impressive locker rooms with attached locker rooms for visiting teams or for Giants or Jets use during training.
