The Houston Texans were established in 2002 they are a franchise in the AFC South as part of the National Football League. The Texans are 95% owned by Bob McNair and 5% by the Texas government, McNair is also the Chairman and CEO, President of the organization is Jamey Rootes and Rick Smith is General Manager. Head coach Bill O’Brien took his position at the helm of the Texans in the 2014 season and their home field is NRG Stadium and has been since their inception in 2002 but was formerly known as Reliant Stadium 2002-2013. NRG Stadium is located at One Reliant Park in Houston, Texas. The stadium has a seating capacity of up to 71,054 and has 196 executive suites available. The Texans secured their first playoff during the 2011 seasons as AFC South division champions and then they won it again in 2012.
