The Tennessee Titans are 6-7 and appear to be on their way out of the AFC playoffs. Not that long ago they were 5-6 and were poised to continue that five-game winning streak all the way to the postseason. Then they lost in Week 13 and every one seems to have abandoned that notion. Well, the Titans lost to the Colts. This is hardly a shameful loss. They followed that loss up with a 47-7 win over the Rams. With three games remaining and two at home at LP Field there is still plenty of football to be played in Nashville. Tennessee must play the Dolphins, Chargers, and Seahawks. The only easy win will be the Seahawks game to close the season. The Dolphins are a beatable team that is also playing well in hopes of taking that last wild card position. The Chargers are leading the AFC West but arguably have something to play for in hopes of holding off the Bengals for the first round bye. Still, lest we not forget that this Titans team has Vince Young and Chris Johnson. Young may have missed most of the Rams game with a hamstring injury, but he is going to play these next three and has the arm and legs to torment defenses. Johnson is the NFL's best running back and demands attention from eight or even nine defenders on every play. The defense was far from awful in the loss to the Colts and this team could easily win three more and threaten to make the postseason with a 9-7 record. This team should not be ignored and fans should be in search of Titans tickets to see if the team could go from one of the worst in the league to a playoff team in one season.
