2009 Season Preview
|
 The St. Louis Rams again threatened to be the worst team in the NFL in 2008. Luckily, the Detroit Lions blew them away in ineptitude. The team was the second worst team when it came to scoring points and stopping other teams from scoring. This was not much a surprise as the team made it clear it was beginning a rebuilding period.
The 2009 season will only improve if the team can first improve the offensive line. The Rams have the very able Steven Jackson and a very capable quarterback in Marc Bulger. They can help stop the bleeding a little bit, but they need to have a hole and a pocket to work such miracles. Tory Holt is getting old and his legs are starting to fail him, so a receiver will be needed at some point. The defense needs help everywhere. There quite a few young players getting time to learn, but there are also veterans at every level not getting the job done.
